Are Floaters In The Eye Normal?
Floaters in the eye are normal and extremely common, in fact at least half of the populaltion
notices black spots in the vision or other symptoms of floaters by the age of eighty.
Suddenly noticing black or grey floaters in your vision can be disturbing, but they are not
something that will normally damage your vision in most cases. The great majority of patients have this form of
floater and they describe them as black strings in their vision, or little dots and squiggly lines that move and
change position and as you move your head they seem to move with you.
