Miscellaneous Causes Of Eye Floaters

It's perfectly normal to have a few black eye floaters after cataract surgery, most of the time they seem to get better over a period of several weeks to months. Folks who are shortsighted or myopic are more likely to become aware of black floaters in the vision at a younger age than normal.

Can Doctors Get Rid Of Your Floating Black Spots?

The use of medications, vitamins, or herbs to cure eye floaters is not a clinically proven strategy.

Clumps of eye floaters have been lasered away by a few eye doctors, but the FDA has never granted official approval of this procedure. It's possible, though not many eye doctors undertake it given that it is considered an off label use of the YAG laser.

The aggravating "microbes" or "bugs" in your eyes will not dissolve or go away on their own, the majority of patients will learn to live with them and vitrectomy eye surgery to remove the "eye bugs" is rarely done.
