The black dots that look like pepper floating in your vision will not normally cause you to have a retinal
problem.
Small black circles that seem to drift through your peripheral vision may be seen by up to
fifty percent of all people by age eighty. Keep in mind that 1 out of 7 individuals who also get light, bright
flashes will find themselves having their retina torn and/or detached in the process of having their vitreous pull
away from the rear wall of their eye.
