Ocular Eye Migraines Are Different From Regular Migraine Headaches
Some people who describe their eye or ocular migraines say it's like looking through a cracked or
broken window with shimmering flashes of lights or swirls of colors. These particular types of migraine are
classified as an ocular migraine and most likely don't result in a headache. The brain has small blood vessels in
it which will in some cases spasm and this is what brings about the migraine of the eye.
The distinct ring like floaters drifting in your vision may be linked to other disorders
such as diabetes or various eye infections like herpes or toxoplasmosis. Furthermore, seeing loads of irritating
floaters is something that myopic or nearsighted people are more likely to
experience.
