Floaters Made Worse By Anxiety And Stress May Represent An Eye Emergency
Branched black lines that drift up and down in your eyes looking like worms will generally not cause you to have
a retinal detachment. However, having black eye floaters for many years but then suddenly getting flashing lights
could mean you are having a significant retinal tear or detachment.
"Dirt" looking black eye floaters, spaghetti string like squiggly lines, or splotches that
bounce around in the vision with showers of light flashes may indicate that a retinal tear or detachment is
happening.
