Eye Floaters And Diabetes: Are They Related?
Eye floaters and diabetes can be related because diabetic retinopathy can cause bleeding in the back of the eye
which can lead to seeing floaters. On the other hand, not every person with diabetes gets bleeding and the floaters
may instead be coming from the normal changes that occur with aging of the vitreous humor.
Where Do Floaters Come From?
Eye debris that floats around and back and forth in your vision is called eye floaters. Even though they are
extremely annoying, most eye floaters are not a serious problem.
