What Is The Medical Reason For Getting Floaters?
Stringy clumps of hair like strands that drift through your vision are the result of separation of the vitreous
gel from the retina. The substance of the vitreous jelly becomes less dense and more liquid with time.
It can look like there are tiny black bugs flying near your eyes when the vitreous breaks
into smaller pieces. Dark ring shaped floaters that are everywhere in your eye are due to shadows cast upon your
retina by debris in the vitreous cavity.
Those oval shaped objects in your eyes with a transparent border to them can either stay fixed or stationary in
the center of your vision or move around as you look back and forth.
