A retinal detachment will not always occur in cases of a large group of cloudy floaters suddenly appearing in
your eyes.
By age eighty over half of all people will have seen wormy looking floaters drift in front
of their eyes. Usually harmless, these "eye floaties" can be quite a considerable retinal issue for fourteen to
fifteen percent of individuals should they be associated with zig zag flashes of light for the reason that
that can be a indication of retinal tearing or detaching.
