Eye Floaters And High Blood Pressure
Eye floaters and high blood pressure are not thought to be medically related to one another because they
are two distinct, different conditions. Nevertheless, high blood pressure and black spots in the eyes are both very
common and can coexist at the same time in the same patient.
Having a major eye problem or damage to your vision usually doesn't happen for most people who experience black
eye floaters. The great majority of patients have this form of floater and they describe them as black strings in
their vision, or little dots and squiggly lines that move and change location and as you move your head they seem
to move with you. Thick or thin dark strands of hairlike material floating through your vision can be
present.
