Floaters And Eye Pain

Floaters and eye pain typically do not occur together because floaters are painless. If eye pain is accompanying your symptoms there may be a different reason for it such as increased eye pressure known as glaucoma, inflammation, dry eye, infection, or a corneal abrasion.

The irritating floating objects in your vision that look like mosquitoes, dark lines, or specks are called floaters of the eye. They can exist in either eye and although they are very distracting, fortunately they don't cause an eyesight problem.
