The vast majority of health insurance plans will not cover you for floater laser eye surgery removal procedures,
which is a rarely performed procedure anyways and most eye doctors do not do it.
Surgical treatment for eye floaters and flashes is not usually recommended because most
people will learn to pay no attention to or "ignore" the dark spots in their vision and adapt to them as time
passes. However, vitrectomy is available for individuals for whom the eye floaters are so bad that they interfere
significantly with daily activities.
