smaller pieces in the back of the eye.
During our youth the vitreous in the eye has a clear jelly like uniformity but this changes as we grow
old and it becomes a more liquid like substance.
Objects that appear like strands of algae moving in your eyes result when the vitreous become more
liquified and shrinks.
Looking at a ligh background such as an ipad screen or iphone can really make you see eye floaters more easily.
This is due to the shadows cast onto the back of the eye from the floaters.
If you've ever tried to focus on those 100s of floaters in your eyes, you will find that you simply can't get
them to stop, they shift easily backwards and forwards in the vitreous gel within your
eyes.
