Pay attention to a big increase in black spots and flecks in your eyes especially if you see lightning flashes to the side, this could rarely mean a retina tear or bleeding is occurring.

Some people describe black eye floaters so bad that it makes them sick to their stomach to watch them constantly drifting through their vision.

The majority of eye doctors are well aware of the fact that if a retinal detachment is discovered on your eye exam then you need to be seen and treated by a board certified retina specialist within a short period of time.
